İSTANBUL GARDEN VILLA
Nestled within a spacious garden in Zekeriyaköy, this three-storey house has been transformed through extensive renovation into a calm yet characterful living space, enhancing the relationship between its interior and exterior. The design intent was to reveal the home’s potential while aligning furniture, art, and accessory selections with the architectural language to form a cohesive atmosphere.
An entry corridor that carries a gallery-like feel through nature-themed works leads into the living room, framed by large, glazed openings that pull daylight and greenery deep inside. The project’s strongest move is the relocation of the workspace into a transparent winter garden positioned in the landscape; rather than a mere extension, it introduces a new daily-life scenario that supports focus and privacy. Inside, wall tones that shift with changing daylight and tactile accents -such as the mirrored surface at the fireplace wall- add depth and warmth.
As a result, İstanbul Garden Villa becomes not a repetition of a ready-made style, but a place where light evolves throughout the day, the garden permeates the interior, and each corner gains meaning through everyday life.
